The Super Metallic series of hobby paints is a very new range new metallic paint, which utilises high class fine metallic particles to obtain a superior finish to other metallic paints. The base material used is the same as that used for Mr.Color. Use Mr.Color Thinner, Mr.Rapid Thinner or Mr.Color Levelling Thinner for paint dilution and airbrush painting. For airbrush painting, dilute paint with thinner in a ratio of 1 part paint to 1 to 2parts thinner (excluding SM08). To seal the paint finish, coat use Super Clear or Mr.Super Clear UV Cut (excluding SM206 and SM08). Tips On The Use of Mr Super Metallic Paints: For SM206, be sure to apply Mr.Color or Mr.Spray Color Black (gloss) as a base coat color before painting in order to give the best metallic touch. In the case of SM206 and SM08, clear paint cannot be applied over the painted surface, as it dulls the color of the paint surface. Fine metallic particles in the paint tend to settle easily, so stir Mr.Super Metallic Paint well when thinning or even during painting.

Recommended for depict urban dirt and clay grounds and terrains. Pigments are used for weathering and ageing the finish of vehicles, armour, fortifications and structures; they are ideal for creating the effects of accumulated dust, dirt, and mud produced by time and natural erosion. Thinner for Model Air and Liquid Acrylic. Thinner used to extend the colors, to increase fluidity and delay the drying time. We recommend the addition of a few drops of Thinner to the colors while airbrushing.

Matt acrylic colors, water-based and especially formulated for airbrushing. The Model Air color range contains the most complete selection of the military colors used in recent history, including the colors of WWI, WWII and up to the present. Each color is based on extensive research by our experts of the existing and previous military references so as to offer the modeler the highest possible historical accuracy. Model Air is used directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prime the surface, and then apply Model Air in several layers. The colors dry very rapidly and form a homogenous paint film of extraordinary resistance while preserving even the smallest detail of the model. For airbrushing these colors, the compressor air pressure is recommended at 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can of course also be applied with a brush. For correct airbrush maintenance we recommend using the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner. Liquid Mask is used to reserve areas which are to remain unpainted, especially in airbrush techniques. The product forms a protective film on the area which the artists does not want to paint. Once the work is dry, liquid mask is rubbed off revealing the unpainted area. Use with brush. Shake lightly and test on surface before use. Do not leave applied for a long time. To remove, peel or rub carefully once dry. Keep from freezing. Safety: Always follow the information on the product label. Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, Reaction mass of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2 H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1). May cause allergic reactions.

Aqueous Hobby Color is a paint line newly reformulated in 2020 and aimed to be a safer paint with a higher degree of user friendliness. Aqueous Hobby Color paint is water based, which means you will never run out of thinner/reducer – you can use regular water. Tool cleanup is also easier as you can use water. Aqueous Hobby Color paint does contain a mild solvent in it which helps a lot with the adhesion. Leveling capabilities of this paint are high, it provides a glossy finish with a light texture, creating an excellent paint finish.Gloss levels of the Aqueous paint can be adjusted using additives H-40 Flat Base can be mixed with any color and make the paint semi-gloss or even matte/flat. Mix ratio between 5% and 10% is recommended. Mr. Aqueous Hobby Colors are ready for a regular brush application. They are also airbrush friendly; however, it is recommended to reduce it before use with an airbrush. As we mentioned earlier, regular water can be used as a reducer, but for the best result we recommend using Mr. Aqueous Hobby Color Thinner (T-110 or T-111). Up to 150% of the reducer can be added to Aqueous paint for airbrush use. When spraying paints with an airbrush, 2-3 coats are recommended. For regular brush use 1-2 coats is enough. If painting a light color over a darker base surface, more layers of paint may be required.
