The NH90 NFH (NATO Frigate Helicopter) was developed specifically for naval use and represents the maritime version of the successful NH90 program. Its main task is submarine hunting from frigates, with the integrated sonar device and torpedoes being its main tools. The helicopter is also equipped for search and rescue missions as well as for the transport of special forces.
