The North American P-51 Mustang is an American, single-engine, long-range fighter and attack aircraft with a classic tail and all-metal construction. The flight of the prototype took place on October 26, 1940. The P-51 Mustang has earned a reputation as one of the best, if not the best, WWII fighter. Replacing the Allison V-1710-39 engine from the first project with a Rolls-Royce Merlin motor (P-51 Mustang Mk.Ia version) made the Mustang, like never before, reached perfection. The single-seat fighter impressed with its maximum speed, range, maneuverability, and powerful weapons. The combination of all the most important parameters for the assessment of the aircraft made the Mustang prove itself in virtually every role entrusted to it: it gained air superiority, escorted, carried out reconnaissance missions, attacked ground targets. The class of design is evidenced by the fact that the Mustang remained in active service until the 70's! One of the most important versions was the P-51D, based on the P-51B. It received a drip cab fairing, ensuring excellent visibility, and a new engine - Packard V-1650-7, which significantly improved performance. Technical data (P-51D version): length: 9.83m, wingspan: 11.28m, height: 4.08m, maximum speed: 703km / h, rate of climb: 16.3m / s, maximum range: 2755km, ceiling practical: 12800m, armament: fixed - 6 12.7mm M2 machine guns, suspended - up to 908 kg of bombs or 10 127mm HVAR rocket launchers.

Hasegawa offered up what is easily the best model of the Zero ever produced with their early-type Model 21, etc. kits in 1997. Now, they've turned their attention to their dated Model 52 kit and given it entirely new wing and fuselage parts. The company's pride in what is the most famous Japanese aircraft ever built shows through! Detail is absolutely brilliant throughout -- you won't need any resin detail sets for this one. No fit problems at all. Markings for a 302nd Naval Flying Group plane flown by Ens. Sadaaki Akamatsu, and a 653rd Group plane flying off Zuiho. Shigeo Koike box art. Highly recommended.

The Mitsubishi Ki-67 Type 4 Heavy Bomber, known to the Allies by the codename “Peggy,” was one of the most advanced Japanese twin-engine bombers of World War II. Introduced in 1944, the Ki-67 was designed for both strategic and tactical bombing, with performance that outclassed many earlier Japanese bombers. It was fast, relatively well-armored, and had self-sealing fuel tanks—features uncommon in most Japanese aircraft of the time. The Ki-67 could carry bombs or torpedoes, making it suitable for both land and naval missions, and it also saw use in kamikaze operations near the end of the war.
Hasegawa first released their 1/72 scale Ki-67 Type 4 “Hiryu” kit in 1999, and it remains as the only kit in 1/72 scale of this aircraft, accurate and well-regarded model. The kit features finely engraved recessed panel lines, a highly detailed cockpit, and optional parts to display the bomb bay open or closed. One of its strong points is the excellent surface detail and solid engineering, which allows for smooth assembly and a sturdy final build. The clear parts are crisp, and the inclusion of optional defensive armament positions adds to its flexibility.
The interior detail could benefit from aftermarket additions like photo-etch or resin sets if you’re aiming for a super-detailed build. Hasegawa’s Ki-67 offers a good balance of accuracy, ease of build, and visual impact, especially when finished in the green-and-gray camouflage typical of late-war Japanese bombers. The kit offers one single markings belonging to the 74th Air Squadron, 1st Company, aircraft number “74-148”. Offers also optional payload between a torpedo, center line, or bombs.

$19.95
Limited reissue of the Hasegawa 1/72 kit P-51D with markings for two aircraft: "Jumping Jacques" of the 3rd FS and "Jan" of the 334th FS.
The P-51 Mustang was a fighter aircraft developed in an astonishingly short time of 117 days, based on a contract signed between the British Aircraft Purchase Committee and North American Aircraft in April 1940.
Initially exported to Britain, it was also adopted by the U.S. Army Air Forces, which had been indifferent to the P-51, once the United States entered the war .
The D model improved rearward visibility compared to the previous B/C models by lowering the upper surface of the rear fuselage and adding a rearward-sliding valve canopy.
Early models did not have a dorsal fin in front of the vertical stabilizer, but one was added during production to improve directional stability.
The Mustang is considered a masterpiece of World War II, a feat proven in combat. The secret to its excellence lies in its design, which was a step ahead of its class, and its overall well-integrated design.

The Fw190A series was developed as a support fighter for the Bf109, and became a masterpiece fighter that surpassed the Bf109. However, the Fw190A series had one weakness - the engine power suddenly dropped when the aircraft rose to altitudes of 6,000m or above. To address this weakness, the D series was developed, equipped with a liquid-cooled Jumo 213 engine, but the improvement in high altitude performance, which was the target, was not sufficient. However, due to its significantly improved flight performance at medium altitudes and below, the German Air Force decided to adopt it as a new medium-altitude fighter, and production of the first mass-produced D-series model, the D-9, began in August 1944.

Hasegawa adds the Toyota Celica LB 1600GT with its distinctive fastback silhouette to their 1/24-scale model kit lineup! It made its debut in April 1973 as a three-door 2+2 couple; as the name "liftback" suggests, it had a large tailgate. When the rear seat backs are folded down, the cargo space could hold surfboards, camping equipment, and other bulky gear. This model kit features many newly developed parts, including the body and interior, based on research conducted on actual vehicles. The chassis will be a set of parts from the conventional Toyota Celica 1600GT; the front grille, bumper, wiper, pillar duct, mirror surface, etc. are plated parts. Eight-spoke Watanabe wheels are included too.
