Das Werk 1/35 Jagdpanther G...
$ PRICE IN PROGRESS!
The Jagdpanzer V, later known as the Jagdpanther (Sd.Kfz. 173), was a German tank destroyer developed during World War II. It was based on the Panther chassis and equipped with the powerful 8.8 cm Pak 43 L/71 gun. Introduced in 1944, it was designed to provide heavily armored and highly effective anti-tank capabilities.
The origins of the Jagdpanther date back to 1939, when Krupp was commissioned to design an armored self-propelled gun mounting an 8.8 cm Flak L/56. After multiple iterations, the project evolved and in 1942, the German Army decided to incorporate Panther components. The design process continued with Daimler-Benz and later MIAG in 1943, which took over production responsibility.
The first serial production Jagdpanthers were delivered in January 1944 by MIAG, followed by additional production lines at MNH (Hannover) and MBA (Potsdam). A total of 413 units were built before the war ended. (268 by MIAG | 112 by MNH | 33 by MBA)
The Jagdpanther was classified by the Allies as a „Heavy Tank Killer“, proving highly effective on the battlefield. However, insufficient numbers limited its impact. It was first deployed in mid-1944 and played a key role in battles such as the Ardennes Offensive (December 1944), where it destroyed numerous Allied tanks.

Sd.Kfz. 250/3 Ausf. A
Leichter Funkpanzerwagen / Sonderkraftfahrzeug 250
The Sd.Kfz. 250/3 Ausf. A was a light, half-tracked armored command and radio vehicle (German designation: leichter Funkpanzerwagen) employed by the German Army during World War II.
It was based on the Sd.Kfz. 250 Ausführung A chassis, which featured complex, multi-angled armor plates and was produced mainly from 1941 to 1943.
Its primary role was command and communications, serving as a mobile headquarters vehicle for unit commanders. The vehicle was equipped with long-range radio sets, typically FuG 7 and FuG 5, and was recognizable by its prominent frame or star antenna mounted around the upper hull.
The Sd.Kfz. 250/3 carried a crew of four to five men, including commander, driver, and radio operators. Armament was usually limited to one or two 7.92 mm MG 34 or MG 42 machine guns for self-defense.
With a weight of approximately 5.7 tons, it was powered by a Maybach HL42 TRKM six-cylinder petrol engine producing about 100 hp, giving it a top road speed of roughly 60 km/h and good cross-country mobility.
The vehicle became well known because Erwin Rommel frequently used a Sd.Kfz. 250/3 as his personal command vehicle in North Africa, nicknamed „Greif“, although similar vehicles were used across many fronts.

SM U9 (Seiner Majestät U-Boot) was a petroleum-electric submarine of the German Imperial Navy of WW1. The double hulled U-Boat was 57.38 m long, 6.00 m wide, had a draft of 3.13 m and a displacement of 493 tons above and 611 tons under water. It could dive to a maximum of 50 m in about 50–90 seconds.
It was powered by 1000 HP petroleum motors on the surface and by 1160 HP electric motors while submerged. With these U9 can speed up to 14.2 knots above water and 8.1 knots under water.Armament consisted of six torpedoes that could be fired through two bow and two stern tubes.

After that the boat U9 was allowed to carry an Iron Cross on the tower. Apart from U9, only the small cruiser SMS Emden received this honor during the WW1.
U9 undertook a total of seven combat cruises and sank five warships with 44,173 tons and 13 merchant ships with 8,636 GRT.
No other boat sank more warships during the First World War. After the war the boat was delivered on November 26, 1918 to Great Britain and in 1919 it was scrapped in Morecambe, Lancashire.

The Sd.Kfz. 234 was a family of armored vehicles developed and built in Germany during World War II. The first and most famous version, the Sd.Kfz. 234/2, was equipped with a turret featuring a 5-cm KwK 39/1 tank gun and a coaxial MG 42.This armament was originally intended for the VK 1602 Leopard, a planned tank in the Panzer II class. The switch to this armament was documented on July 1, 1942, and on November 2, 1943, the production of 100 vehicles with this equipment was announced. A total of 101 vehicles were manufactured between December 1943 and June 1944. The designation Sd.Kfz. 234/2 was used from March 1944.
This version of the Sd.Kfz. 234, with its relatively strong armament for a reconnaissance vehicle, often tempted crews to engage in combat instead of just performing reconnaissance tasks.

The Jaguar 1 is a tank destroyer used by the German Bundeswehr from 1978 to 2005 and by the Austrian Armed Forces, which deployed them in Panzerabwehrbataillon 1, from 1996 to 2006.Its design is based on the Bundeswehr's Kanonenjagdpanzer, sharing the same lower hull and running gear.
Initially, prototypes for a new missile tank destroyer were developed from 1963, resulting in the Raketenjagdpanzer 2, equipped with SS.11 missiles. From 1978 to 1983, 316 of these vehicles were upgraded to the Jaguar 1 with HOT missile systems and additional armor.
The Jaguar 1 served in the Bundeswehr's tank destroyer units until their disbandment in 1996, after which remaining units were reassigned to mechanized infantry and tank battalions. By the end of 2005 (Austria 2006), all Jaguar 1s were retired.
The Jaguar 1's HOT missile could be operated under armor and NBC protection, with an automatic loader and a drum magazine holding eight missiles, plus up to 12 additional missiles stored inside. It became fully night-capable with the A3 upgrade, adding new optics and thermal imaging from 1993 to 1995.

The Improvements
After the release, we received a lot of feedback from you. The vast majority was very positive, but there were also some criticisms respectively parts of the kit that we could have done better. The "Brückenleger M48“ was the standard bridge laying tank of the Bundeswehr, originally made in the USA, before phased out in the 1970s for the "Biber".
The base was the armored hull of the M48 with six roadwheels and a rubber-padded steel track. The two fuel tanks together held around 1300 liters of gasoline. The vehicle was equipped with a 250 cm³ auxiliary engine for battery charging and heating.
A plate covered the opening of the original turret and cupolas were attached to the left and right for the driver and the commander. The M48 Brückenleger was the heaviest and the only vehicle of the Bundeswehr that could only be driven with a class F4 driving license.
The almost 20m long folding bridge was laid or picked up with a total of four hydraulic cylinders. One after the other, the erecting cylinder and the laying cylinder as well as the folding cylinder of the bridge were actuated parallel for laying the bridge (or picking up and folding in).
The bridge could be laid up to 19% up and down and with a cross slope of up to 8%. For rail transport and also for transport on the low-loader trailer (15 t), the bridge could be stored completely folded. The crossing speed over the bridge was about 4 km/h, but up to 20 km/h was possible in practice.
Improvements and Changes
The hull and the engine deck of the M48A2 are used.

This tank destroyer is something like the heavily armored cousin of the German Hetzer. Weighing in approximately at 30 tons, this vehicle should effectively destroy enemy tanks. The project did not progress beyond the concept phase and was never built for the Wehrmacht. The model is exciting for anyone who would like to build What-If / Wehrmacht 1946 models.
With our kit, either the version with the 10,5-cm-leichte Feldhaubitze 43 or the version with the 10cm Panzerabwehrwerfer can be built.
