The McDonnell Douglas/General Dynamics A-12 Avenger II was a proposed American attack aircraft from McDonnell Douglas and General Dynamics. It was to be an all-weather, carrier-based stealth bomber replacement for the Grumman A-6 Intruder in the United States Navy and Marine Corps. Its Avenger II name was taken from the Grumman TBF Avenger of World War II. The development of the A-12 was troubled by cost overruns and several delays, causing questions of the program’s ability to deliver upon its objectives; these doubts led to the development program’s cancellation in 1991. The manner of its cancellation was contested through litigation until a settlement was reached in January 2014. Contents Plastic sprue, Decalsheet (waterslide)

E-75 Mech Twin 50mm Guns Assault Tank The E-75 Mech Twin 50mm Guns Assault Tank is a specialized anti-infantry and light-armor combat variant of the E-75 Heavy Mech series. Retaining the Type G's turret design, this version replaces the 128mm high-velocity cannon with dual 50mm autocannons, significantly improving its ability to engage infantry, light vehicles, and lightly armored targets. With a total production of approximately 400 units, this variant was designed to operate in supporting roles, providing rapid sustained fire against enemy forces while retaining the ability to penetrate light and medium armor. It proved to be effective in urban combat and combined arms operations, where its high rate of fire and maneuverability allowed it to outmatch conventional armored vehicles. Development and Design Following the deployment of the E-75 Type G, commanders identified a growing need for a mech variant that could effectively counter infantry formations while maintaining some level of anti-armor capability. The twin 50mm autocannon system was selected due to its high rate of fire, moderate armor penetration, and versatility against both infantry and light tanks. This design allowed the E-75 Twin 50mm Assault Tank to serve as a mobile fire-support unit, rapidly suppressing enemy positions and engaging light armored vehicles and fortifications. While its 50mm cannons lacked the armor-piercing power of the 128mm main gun, they were capable of flanking heavy tanks and destroying them from the side, making this mech a valuable asset in tactical battlefield maneuvers.

B-52G Stratofortress - USAF Strategic Bomber In 1948, the US Department of Defense placed an order with Boeing to develop a new strategic bomber with a flight capacity and range exceeding all existing ones, capable of attacking targets anywhere on the globe. The result of this order was the design of the XB-52 aircraft with 20 ° slant wings, equipped with 6 turbo propeller engines. After obtaining jet engines (strictly after purchasing their license in Great Britain), it was significantly modified; the skew of the wings was increased to 35 °, and the number of engines was increased to eight, placing them in pairs on the under-wing pylons; the landing gear of the plane was resolved in an unconventional way. In 1949, after presenting the model to the recipient and obtaining its approval, the construction of prototypes began, using the experience gained in the design and construction of the earlier B-47 Stratojet bomber. The prototype of the B-52 was flown on April 15, 1952 Specification Scale: 1/72 Length: 673mm Wingspan: 783mm Height: 172mm

Dassault Mirage F-1 was developed to replace the renowned delta-wing supersonic fighter, the Mirage III, which had established the French aviation industry as a global benchmark in the 1960s. The Mirage F-1, in its fighter configuration, entered service with the French Air Force at the end of 1973 and, within a few years, replaced the earlier Mirage III fleet. Unlike its predecessor, it features a swept-wing design, which significantly improved its flight performance and manoeuvrability. Over the years, the Mirage F-1 evolved through continuous upgrades in onboard electronics, avionics, and weapon systems, enhancing its operational longevity. The aircraft also achieved significant commercial success, being adopted by numerous air forces worldwide to equip their fighter squadrons. The Supermarine Spitfire is arguably the most famous and beautiful fighter aircraft ever to grace the skies. First flying in 1936, R.J. Mitchell’s masterpiece was the interceptor of choice for Fighter Command by 1940, and the envy of many of the world’s air arms. Powered by the equally famous Rolls Royce Merlin V12, the Spitfire was capable of speeds of over 360mph and had exceptional manoeuvrability. The Spitfire was an excellent dog-fighter, able to turn on the inside of an opponent to great effect during the struggles over southern England and the English Channel during the Battle of Britain. The Spitfire Mark I has come to be seen as a symbol of ‘The Few’, vital to the defence of the United Kingdom against the previously all-conquering Luftwaffe. Along with the Hurricane, it cemented its place in history during the Battle of Britain and continues to be a hugely desirable ‘warbird' at airshows.

Considered by many the most capable WWII fighters, the Mustang was also active in the Korean War, and this model creates one such F-51D. Renamed from the P-51D to the F-51D to go along with the creation of the US Air Force, the Mustang seemed set for gradual retirement as the jet aircraft took center stage. With the outbreak of hostilities on the Korean peninsula, however, that all changed. United Nations forces were hard pushed in the early stages of the war, and USAF P-80s were unable to land in areas where there were frequently no proper runways. The F-51D stepped in and performed admirably in a ground attack role as the United Nations forces pushed back. Features 1/32 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 308mm, wingspan: 354mm. The six wing machine guns feature individual parts for ammunition belts. Underbelly radiators have depictions of interior structure. Radiator and oil cooler flaps are moving parts. Choose whether to display the kit in flight or parked (can be changed after assembly), with dedicated landing gear parts included. The tail wheel is attached with a magnet. Moving ailerons, rudders and elevators use metal shafts and photo-etched parts. Flaps are also movable with the use of poly caps. Magnet-attached engine cowls are molded in appropriately thin plastic. Features a 16-page full color A5-size booklet packed with information, and a dedicated four-language cover story. What’s New Parts included for six 5-inch HVAR rockets. Wider paddle blade propeller is accurately recreated. Features a choice of SCR-522 transceiver with BC-453B receiver, and new AN/ARC-3 transceiver set. Each has dedicated cockpit parts. New parts depict slitted fuselage side radiator access panel. Seated and standing pilot figures. The former uses new head parts featuring the P-1A helmet used in the Korean war. Comes with three marking options (two U.S. and one Korean)

In Desperate Defense The Hien was officially adopted by the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) in 1943, and stood out among its Japanese aircraft contemporaries in the Pacific War on account of its liquid-cooled Ha-40 engine, slimline fuselage and long, elegant wing. A number of different variants were produced, among them the Ki-61-Id which featured a 20cm-elongated nose to house 20mm cannons, plus 12.7mm machine guns in the wing. In fact, with 1,360 units it was the most prolifically produced Hien variant; its superior performance at higher altitudes meant that it was often given the brief of taking on incoming U.S. B29 bombers in the skies around the home islands of Japan. One IJA unit which notably deployed the Hien was the 244th Air Group led by Captain Teruhiko Kobayashi. Features Fuselage length: 187mm, wingspan: 250mm. The model accurately depicts the Ki-61-Id Type Hien with elongated nose and slim fuselage. The inverted Ha-40 V12 is depicted complete with supercharger and other details. Cramped cockpit interior features 20mm cannon ammo cases, oil tank and more. Fuselage underside radiator showcases superb detail and accuracy, right down to the depiction of air intake slats. Canopy can be assembled open or closed. Comes with parts to recreate 2 drop tanks, 1 figure, and 2 marking options recreating aircraft of the 244th Air Group.
