Tander then went one better in Round 5, finishing 2nd place in Race 3 at Hidden Valley Raceway. The very next Round at Sandown International Raceway Tander would see the podium again after finishing 3rd place in Race 3.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe immediately followed that up with his best Round results to date with a 2nd place in Race 1, 3rd place in Race 2 and 2nd place in Race 3 at Queensland Raceway. Having come so close previously, Tander finally achieved his very first race win at Calder Park Raceway in Race 3 on Sunday July 25, 1999. “As soon as I got in front of Skaife (Mark Skaife) I knew I could win, nobody was going by me today” said an elated Tander afterwards.
